Truly an astounding book that I enjoyed. A friendship becomes more in “Done Being Friends” by Author Trisha Grace. Faith and Zac after embark on different paths on life’s journey, but they still remain friends. A twist of events brings them back together when Faith’s father ends up in the hospital. Zac goes to comfort Faith and finds her in the arms of another. His heart tells him there is more to their friendship and ventures out on a quest to turn that friendship into something more.

This is definitely a classic romance that will inspire you in an emotional way and leave you wanting more from Author Trisha Grace. While this is the first time reading “Done Being Friends” I cannot see the differences between the two versions. As such can only speak to the quality of the re-edited version that I felt is perfectly written. The storyline and plot theme are original and unique. All of the characters are developed with depth and persona that makes them easy to relate to. I read this story in two nights and could not put it down. Author Trish Grace even managed to get a few tears out me, which is not an easy thing to do. I was lucky enough to pick up a copy of this book on a free day, but would have added it to my library all the same.

Thank you for this heartwarming love story of Faith and Zac. I enjoyed the entire storyline and couldn't put down my until I finished the story. I look forward to reading more of your work.
I loved the story line in this book, "Done Being Friends". This is the first novel I have had the pleasure of reading by Trisha Grace, and I will be reading her other novels very soon. I love the fact that she masterfully weaved Christian thoughts and beliefs into her contemporary romance setting. I'm also a born again believer, from a grace church doctrine, so this was a breath of fresh air to read. Thank you, thank you!!
A love story of how a best friendship grew into romantic love. It seemed even a close friend wanted to break them apart as well as a not quite sane acquaintance.
There were some interesting twists, and turns in this relationship.
I thought this story was sweet and clean. What I loved most about it was the two main characters never doubted each other, they trusted each other no matter what was thrown their way. The lack in angst was nice. There were a few errors, but nothing major. I was a little surprised after reading the book that it got such poor reviews. I must have read the reedited version. I definitely recommend this.
I really enjoyed this story! Zac and Faith are the perfect couple.It was cool to see that they were best friends ever since third grade.I loved how Zac was always there for Faith,no matter what!!Perfect~ Just perfect!
The premise of the story is rather straight forward, two lifelong friends, slowly discover that they may want to be more than friends, and will have to endure the chaotic events in life that soon follow. I thought this story, was very sweet, and for a hopeless romantic like myself, it hit the spot perfectly. Throughout the story, you could definitely feel the emotions and the chemistry between the main characters, who are well developed. As a whole, the story was a fast read for me, as the plot moves quickly, and keeps pace until the end. Well written and thought out, this was a great love story. *****5 Stars*****
Zac Hayden was a friend since the age of six. His parents had a horrible marriage where his father cheated on his mother so much until she couldn’t take it. They fought terrible fights till finally she started cheating on him to teach him a lesson which turned into a vicious circle. Never getting him to stop so one day she just up and left. Zac was a 10 year old little boy who cried endlessly for her.
Until Faith’s grandma and mom asked if he could stay over. Then two nights, turned into two weeks that turned into six months. Then, Zac noticed he would stay with Aunt Michelle, Uncle Jon and Grandma. Most of the time in his own room that they made for him next to their daughter Faith and the visits to his dad’s for a week sometimes two if at all. To this day he still has a room there if he wants or needs it.
As Faith Preston and Zac go off to College together along with their childhood friend Dylan their bond between them becomes ever stronger. If ever in need the one would drop whatever they were doing to be at the others side. Not telling each other they were in love with each other. Zac never wanted to ruin their relationship not knowing at the same time Dylan was falling in love with Faith too.
As if that wasn’t enough Faith’s roommate Jessica was falling in love with Dylan. Then, Zac’s dad dies he has to take over the company. He has no clue what he is doing but luckily Dylan did so he guided him all the way. Faith always at his side giving him moral support. About 8 years go by when Faith’s dad has a heart attack now everyone will be confronting their true feelings and truths will be revealed. See who’s truly a friend, who are foes, who are lovers, and who are just in love. And who is willing to follow God’s law.
For this being the author’s first book she had ever written it was a very good story line. The characters were engaging, the plot was well thought-out, and it was a book you just didn’t want to put down. I am so glad I get this free on . I give this 5 stars.
